Foodbank
With over 9,000 Stockport children living in households defined as living in poverty, Trinity Church in conjunction with other Churches, run and operate Stockport Foodbank. Working closely with the other centres, Trinity offers 3-day emergency food parcels to those within our community who have been referred to us by Social Services or other frontline agencies.

Stockport Foodbank, which is part of the Trussell Trust, is based at 8 centres, Trinity Church Cheadle, Hazel Grove Baptist Church, St Mark’s Bredbury, St Martin's in Heaton Norris, The Bairstow Centre in Reddish, St Philips in Offerton, Tiviot Dale Church in the town centre and the Salvation Army, Cheadle Heath.

Our Foodbank at Trinity Church opens from 10am - 12 noon on Friday mornings. Across Stockport there are one or more centres open 6 days a week - all the opening times and further information are on the Foodbank website www.stockport.foodbank.org.uk

Foodbank vouchers can be obtained from agencies such as The Citizen's Advice Bureau, social and other agency workers, schools, health visitors and professional care organisations.

If you wish to donate food, there are collection baskets at the checkouts of most local supermarkets. We also have a trolley for donations of long life items in our church foyer.
We particularly need toiletries, sanitary products, nappies, long-life milk, fruit juice, tinned meat, vegetables, soup, fish, beans and tea, coffee, pasta, rice, biscuits. All items must be in date.

Perhaps you could do a 'Reverse Advent'? More information from our poster when you click the link below...
Many thanks
